SKATEBOARD Now I can ride my skateboard
What should I do on such a sunny day?
I don't want to stay bored
I tie my shoes and go outside and play
I wish I could skateboard
If I could surf the curb like Tony Hawk
I'd be the star of my whole block

If I could ride my skateboard, my skateboard
     Wouldn't that be cool?
If I could ride my skateboard, my skateboard
     Like other kids in school
If I could ride my skateboard, my skateboard
     That would totally rule
Someday I'll ride my skateboard
Going straight toward the ramp on the corner
And I will soar

All the skaters in my neighborhood
They say I go too slow
I wear a helmet 'cause I know I should
I fell on my elbow
Little bumps don't bother me at all
I get back up each time I fall

If I could ride my skateboard, my skateboard
     Wouldn't that be rad?
If I could ride my skateboard, my skateboard
     A present from my dad
If I could ride my skateboard, my skateboard
I've got my brand new pads
I'm gonna ride my skateboard
     Going straight toward --

The ramp on the corner I push
And I almost skate into a bush
But I pump and I pump with my feet
Feel the world whizzing by in the street
And my brother and everyone's there
As I rise up the ramp in the air
Wow, I did it!

Now I can ride my skateboard, my skateboard
Now I can ride my skateboard, my skateboard

I love the feeling of the clickity-clack
Patrolling the sidewalks
Four rolling wheels rocking right on track
I'm wearing my tube socks
